Our Characters all bring the “Wow” Factor that elevates them from a person in a costume, to feeling like the real deal. They know every line from their movies, and are trained to interact as such. Each costume has a special detail, for example, the Wayfinder’s necklace can actually open, the Spider Hero’s eyes in the mask move, and so many more.
Unique Activities
Our party itineraries are completely customizable. As long as we can complete it in the time we’re hired for, we’ll do it! Each activity is also themed to the characters, some that no other character company in Austin does! For example, Frozen parties can include a snowball fight or Encanto parties can assemble the prophecy puzzle.

Our email responses will be prompt & informative. The big difference is our assistants! We send an assistant to every event. They will ensure everything runs smoothly, & allow the character to completely focus on the children. All you have to do is sit back and watch the magic.

I’m Sam!
A character performer of 5 years, and a UT Austin Graduate who earned a BS in Biochemistry. I currently teach chemistry for a local Austin High School, but on weekends I put on my tiara and run Just Add Magic! I am fully dedicated to ensuring each person that interacts with our characters (yes adults too!) FEEL like they are meeting the real deal. Whether I’m in the classroom or in a ballgown, I bring passion and creativity to everything I am a part of.

Attendants are an integral part of our services! They’ll help with communication, set up and take down, and take some pictures and videos. This allows the character to completely focus on the kids, and you to sit back and watch the magic.

We recommend scheduling the character at least 30 minutes to an hour after when you tell the guests to arrive. This ensures everyone is present for the character's grand entrance.

We require a 50% deposit to confirm the booking. Without a deposit, your booking is not confirmed! We are very flexible with payment methods, so we’re happy to do what’s easiest for you.

First, you’ll receive a confirmation email that we’ve received your deposit. If your event is over a month away, you’ll receive a check-in email the 1st day of the month of your event. We’ll need the remaining balance one week before your event date. Once you’ve paid the remaining balance, you’ll receive an email with all the details of your booking. This is where you’ll confirm your activity plan. The day of the event, the performers will text you when they are on their way. We’ll be available the whole time for any questions you may have!

We were absolutely delighted with the Cinderella we hired! She was a dream come true - kind and gracious. Her costume was impeccable, and her mannerisms and charm were spot on. She brought joy and magic to our daughter’s 4th birthday party with sparkly tattoos, story time, dancing and making the kiddos feel like royalty. Her professionalism and warmth made her a pleasure to work with. My daughter is already talking about her 5th birthday party and what princess we should have join us. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a top-notch princess experience!
We had Anna and Elsa come to my daughter’s 4th birthday party and we were blown away. The team was punctual and did an amazing job leading activities (glitter tattoos, story time, snowball Fight, coronation!). I honestly thought the characters would lip-sync, but we were all amazed that they sang live. The kids were so happy and entertained and the parents so excited for their kids.

We had the BEST experience with Just Add Magic! at our annual back to school event. Samantha was amazing to work with as we hooked our gig, and then the day of her performers were amazing! They were in character the whole time and were so, so focused on the kids and bringing them joy. Our entire team agreed how much we loved the performers and the kids/families raved about them. For my PTA's family dance this year, we chose a Disney's Encanto theme, and had Mirabel and Isabella characters attend. The ladies were fantastic. They charmed our elementary students and were a huge hit. They showed up on time and did everything right, I can't thank them enough!
